Meet the Owner

Megan Fournier M.S., CCC-SLP/ Owner

Megan (Meg) is a New Jersey licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. Meg is the owner and founder of Shoreline Therapy Services, LLC that started in May of 2022. Meg is also a member of The American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).

To date, Shoreline Therapy Services, LLC, serves children and families throughout Monmouth and Northern Ocean Counties in New Jersey. She personally provides all services, including therapy, school-based contracts, and comprehensive evaluations. All recommendations for services are individualized and based on each client’s unique strengths, needs, and skill profile to ensure meaningful and functional progress.

As a speech-language pathologist, Meg places a strong emphasis on literacy intervention, recognizing the critical connection between oral language, executive functioning, and reading and writing development. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham instruction through the Institute for Multisensory Education (IMSE) and integrates structured, multisensory literacy approaches into her speech and language intervention. Additionally, Meg is trained in the Lindamood-Bell programs Visualizing and Verbalizing® and Talkies®, further supporting language comprehension and expressive language development. She is also PROMPT Level 1 trained and a registered Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) clinician.

Is Shoreline right for your child?

Your child may be a good fit for our practice if they are struggling with reading, writing, spelling, or language. Our practice specializes in literacy development and parent education, meaning we don’t just work with your child; we partner with you every step of the way.

As a licensed speech-language pathologist trained in Orton-Gillingham–based approaches, Meg provides therapy that is grounded in the science of reading and language. Sessions are structured, individualized, and designed to build strong foundational skills while supporting confidence and motivation. Parents who value understanding why their child is struggling—and how to support progress at home—often find our collaborative approach especially helpful.

As a speech-language pathologist trained through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE), Meg provides literacy-based therapy grounded in structured, evidence-based instruction. IMSE is a nationally recognized leader in multisensory, structured literacy, and Meg uses their current program to support students with reading, spelling, and language-based learning challenges.

By integrating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic modalities within speech-language therapy, she targets the underlying language skills that impact literacy—including phonological awareness, decoding, encoding, and language comprehension. This intentional, multisensory approach allows therapy to be both highly effective and individualized, helping students build strong foundations, confidence, and lasting academic skills.
