Summer 2026 Literacy Classes

Our Summer Literacy classes are designed to provide individualized, evidence-based support for children struggling with reading, spelling, writing, and language development. These sessions are ideal for children who would benefit from targeted intervention over the summer months to strengthen foundational literacy skills, maintain academic progress, and build confidence before the upcoming school year.

Each intensive is tailored to your child’s specific needs and may target:

  • Phonological awareness

  • Decoding and encoding

  • Reading fluency

  • Reading comprehension

  • Spelling

  • Written language

  • Vocabulary and language development

Services are provided in a supportive, engaging environment using structured literacy and language-based intervention approaches.

What’s Included

Each Summer Literacy Intensive package includes:

  • Initial literacy screener and skill-based assessment

  • Individualized treatment planning

  • One-on-one therapy sessions (*group sessions are available upon request)

  • Parent education and recommendations

  • Home practice activities and strategies

  • Progress monitoring throughout the program

The literacy screener is included within the package price and helps identify your child’s strengths and areas of need in order to develop personalized intervention goals.

Who May Benefit

Summer Literacy Intensives may be appropriate for children who:

  • Are struggling with reading or spelling

  • Demonstrate signs of dyslexia or language-based learning difficulties

  • Need support with comprehension or written expression

  • Benefit from explicit, systematic literacy instruction

  • Need continued academic support over the summer months

Limited summer spots are available and scheduling is completed on a first-come, first-served basis. Families may choose from multiple scheduling options based on availability and student needs.
